Lachlan Calvert
Director, Endless Abilities Support Services
I have been supporting individuals in different capacities since I was in school, volunteering in free periods with the special education unit. Once I left school in 2015, I worked in schools in OSHC, special education and as a teacher aide while studying a Bachelor of Primary Education. In February 2021 I became an independent support worker and since have supported a variety of amazing people.
I now continue to support people full time and manage my small company Endless Abilities Support Services & endeavour to provide the best supports for each individual dependant on their interests and goals. I also have a short-term accommodation house in Petrie where we will go out during the day and engage in an activity or task and access the community come dusk or just hang out at home. Some of my interests include the beach, sport, animals, travel, high adrenaline-based activities and trying new things.

Madeline Jones
Support Worker
I’m currently studying psychology, and through my degree, I’ve discovered a deep passion for emotional wellbeing and celebrating individual differences. Over the past year, I’ve been the primary carer for my mum during her cancer journey. That experience has opened my eyes to the meaning and fulfilment that come from supporting someone. This inspired me to pursue disability support work with genuine compassion and care.
I bring lived experience, a strong work ethic, and a heart for helping others. I believe every person deserves to feel valued, heard, and supported. Inclusivity and respect are my core values that I apply every day.
Outside of study and support work, I love surfing at the beach, playing soccer, reading a psychological thriller, and cheering on Collingwood in the AFL.

I'm currently studying a Bachelor of Psychology and Bachelor of Justice at QUT, and I have a real passion for helping and connecting with people. Through my previous roles in customer service and aged care, I've developed patience, empathy, and the ability to stay calm and supportive in a range of situations.
In my free time, I love going to the gym, painting, and spending quality time with my family and friends. I'm a friendly, positive and reliable person who enjoys getting to know new people and helping others build confidence, independence, and enjoy the things they love. I believe everyone deserves to feel supported, respected, and included, and look forward to creating meaningful connections while making a positive difference in the lives of the people I support. -

As a passionate advocate for inclusive community care based in Brisbane, Queensland, I am dedicated to empowering individuals to live their best lives. Previously I have supported elderly people in aged care facilities; whether day to day care or taking groups of the elderly out to access the community. Additionally, a decade-long tenure as a Pathology Specimen Collector with Australia's leading pathology provider, I have developed a strong foundation in patient care and problem-solving skills.
Transitioning into my current role as a NDIS support worker, I leverage this extensive background to establish meaningful connections, fostering trust and collaboration to enhance the well-being and independence of those I support. I specialize in personal care, community outings, and creating engaging activities tailored to individual needs.
Outside of work, I am an avid fisherman, sports enthusiast, animal lover, traveller, and chess player. These interests allow me to connect with participants on a personal level, enriching the support experience.

I am a proud indigenous man who has spent my adult life caring for neurodiverse children with complex needs. As well as being a father to two daughters with disabilities I have been working in childcare & out-of-school care for the past five years. Having worked closely with children with diverse developmental and behavioural needs has allowed me to develop strong skills in supporting daily routines, fostering independence, and building trusting relationships with children and their families. Additionally, I have supported adults & teenagers with disabilities through support work and family connections.
I ensure to support people with patience and kindness, maintaining confidentiality and engaging with a person’s support network to foster cohesion and deliver the best quality supports. Outside of supporting others and spending time with my family; I enjoy NRL, camping and anything else outdoors!

Orlando Lopez
Support Worker
I am currently studying a Bachelor of Education at university, with a strong passion for working with and supporting young people. Alongside my studies, I am a semi-professional soccer player, which has helped me develop discipline, teamwork, resilience, and strong communication skills.
I currently coach soccer at different primary schools around Queensland. Being able to help the kids grow and become better players and people has had a big influence on me which made me decide to study primary school teaching.
I have a genuine interest in music, sport, and building meaningful relationships, and I enjoy creating positive, engaging environments where people feel comfortable and supported.
I chose to become a support worker because I am passionate about helping individuals build confidence, independence, and life skills. I find fulfilment in supporting others to reach their personal goals and believe in the importance of patience, empathy, and consistency. My background in education and sport has strengthened my ability to motivate, encourage, and connect with people from diverse backgrounds.

Sera Macdonnell
Support Worker
Hi, I’m Sera. I’m currently studying counselling, a field I genuinely love and feel deeply passionate about. I’m especially interested in working as a school counsellor in the future, where I can support young people through important stages of their development and wellbeing. I have embraced my role as a disability support worker & met great people along the way. My interest in becoming a support worker stemmed through my sincere care for others and a deep interest in enhancing ones strengths & assisting others to live their best lives.
Alongside my studies, I go to the gym almost every day — it’s one of my main ways to decompress and reset. I used to be a hip hop dancer and while I don’t dance as much now, I still have a real love for it. Outside of work and study, you’ll often find me enjoying a downtime and a meal at a local café or walking along the beach collecting shells — two simple things that bring me a lot of joy.
